Wood has long been one of the most widely used building materials because of its beauty, ease of use and accessibility, but due to other features such as its short shelf life, low compressive and tensile strength, and dimensional instability put a lot of restrictions on the consumers. In recent years, a new product is produced by wood processing called Thermo wood, which has quickly found its place among the building materials. This process (wood heat treatment) improves the dimensional stability of the wood and prevents the elongation, swelling and torsion and oxidizing. Hence, the Thermo wood can even be used on the exterior of the building.
